Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal, according to The Guardian.
The Gunners have opened talks with the La Liga giants about the prospect of signing the Spaniard this month.
The north London outfit are “hopeful” of being able to secure the services of the 25-year-old playmaker in the January transfer window as manager Unai Emery looks to rebuild his squad.
The report goes on to claim that the two clubs have now opened discussions about the potential move and are hopeful that a transfer can be agreed this month.
Suarez has struggled for a regular spot at Camp Nou this season and has only made two La Liga appearances from the bench so far.
