Liverpool have started potential talks with Lyon to land Nabil Fekir this summer, according to French newspaper L’Equipe, as quoted by Metro.
The Reds are working on a deal to bring the Frenchman to Anfield as their first summer signing.
The report goes on to claim that the 24-year-old will definitely be leaving the Ligue 1 outfit for around £60m this summer, and it looks as if the Merseyside is the most likely destination.
However, it is also suggested that Liverpool have asked Lyon to put transfer talks on hold until after their Champions League final on Saturday night.
The Reds are preparing to take on Real Madrid in the final as they look to win their first major trophy under the German boss Jurgen Klopp.
Fekir has been in sensational form for Lyon this season, scoring 23 times in all competitions for the French outfit.
