The newly crowned champions Manchester City are allegedly on the verge of finalising a deal that will bring Napoli midfielder Jorginho to the Etihad Stadium.
City are in advance talks to secure the £50m-rated Italy international ahead of next season, according to Goal.com.
The Sky Blues are said to be keen to sign just two players ahead of next season, with Jorginho their first option as manager Pep Guardiola looks to build on their Premier League-winning campaign.
City have also attempted to sign Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred and Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal for these positions in January, but they failed with their bids.
Earlier reports claim that Guardiola will be given huge £200 million to spend on new players this summer.
