AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso has agreed a new three-year contract with the Italian giants.
Earlier this season, the 40-year-old penned a deal until the end of the season but the former defensive midfielder has led a revival at San Siro with 13 wins and six draws under his 25 matches in charge.

Rossoneri have now moved to keep Gattuso as head-coach over a longer period, and CEO Marco Fassone has expressed his happiness after tying him for another three years.
At a press conference, Fassone said: “The moment has arrived to tell you that Rino Gattuso will be our coach for the next three years. This is one of the most heartfelt choices we’ve made since we’ve been here, and in recent months he’s done an extraordinary job.
“With Rino we can really have an important long-term project. It’s my fault the renewal took so long because I was always away, but Rino is absolutely wanted by all of us.”
AC Milan currently sit in sixth place in the Serie A table.
