The Melbourne Renegades allrounder Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the rest of the KFC Big Bash League season with a hamstring injury.
A massive blow for the Fans out there, with scans confirming the Trinidadian cricketer will miss the remainder of the tournament.
Bravo, 33, picked up the hamstring during the Renegades’ loss to the Perth Scorchers at Etihad Stadium on Thursday, with the tests confirming a serious injury that will require surgery.
“Unfortunately my Big Bash season is over which is very disappointing,” The West-Indian star said on Friday.
“I’ll now have surgery and the rehabilitation to get me fit and playing at my best again. I want to thank all the Renegades fans for their support for me and I hope to see them again next season.”
