Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has returned to Italian giants AS Roma on a season-long loan deal.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper has spent the previous campaign on a temporary deal at the Stadio Olimpico, racked up 34 Serie A appearances for Giallorossi.

According to report in the Daily Star, Roma will cover the entirety of the Polish stopper’s £46,000-a-week wage, while the north Londoners will bagged £840,000 for permitting the loan.
“I’m very happy,” Szczesny told Roma TV. “After a good season last year I had possibility of coming back and I was very happy that the coach wanted me. I’m delighted to be back and I hope that we can improve on what we did last season.”
Szczesny joined the Gunners’ academy 10 years ago in 2006 and made his senior debut three years later.
