The left-arm pacer has played 112-game in his Twenty20 career that includes 132 wickets at an average of 25.10, making him a strong acquisition for the two-time BBL champions.
He is regarded as one of the most popular bowlers in Australia, having claimed 313 Test wickets, including 37 in the home Ashes in 2013-14.
The sixth edition of the Big Bash League gets underway later in December.
