Manchester City upcoming manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly instructed the club’s officials to approach a summer deal for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, reports The Daily Mail.
The Frenchman, who has amassed over 150 appearances for the Italian Champions following his move from City’s rival Manchester United in 2012, has also caught the eye of Chelsea.
The Sky Blues recently announced via an official statement that Guardiola will be the head-coach at the Etihad stadium once the current season comes to an end.

It is understood that, the 45-year-old Spaniard is desperate to re-shape the squad before his arrival in the summer. and the Citizens are willing to pay in excess of huge £80 million in order to beat the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea to Pogba’s signature.
Juventus hotshot Pogba’s current contracted with the Serie A outfit is valid until the summer of 2019. But City are keen to bring the 22-year-old midfielder to the Etihad this summer.
