Delhi Capitals hit by injury blow with seamer Ishant Sharma is ruled out of the remaining Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
It has been revealed that the 32-year-old sustained a muscle tear, ruling him out of the rest of the competition.
The right-arm fast bowler has only featured in one match against Sunrisers Hyderabad during the ongoing edition of the IPL.
No backup for Ishant has been confirmed, yet. The Capitals have already lost Amit Mishra with a finger injury, while Rishabh Pant has been sidelined for a week with a hamstring injury.
The India international has played 97 Tests, 14 T20Is, and 80 ODI for his country.
