Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Bournemouth forward Josh King before the summer transfer window shuts down on October 5.
Spurs were heavily linked with a bid for the 28-year-old striker earlier in the transfer window, and while talks between the two clubs went quiet for a while it is understood the North Londoners are still keen to bring a new striker before next week’s transfer deadline.
However, according to The Telegraph, Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho is still considering whether to make an approach for the Norway international.
The Portuguese boss is eager to bring in experienced backup for the talismanic Harry Kane, preferring to use Gareth Bale out wide rather than down the middle.
The Cherries are open to cashing in on the Norwegian, who still has less than 12 months left to run on his contract at the Vitality Stadium.
