Atletico Madrid have reportedly revived their interest in signing Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno at the start of 2020.
Los Rojiblancos were strongly linked with a move for the 28-year-old striker during the summer, although the Spanish giants were unable to get a deal over the line.
The Spain international is yet to score in 7 league appearances for Diego Simeone’s side this season but has contributed three assists, in addition the forward scored in the Champions League against Chelsea last month.
According to Calciomercato, Los Che will reopen negotiations during the New Year in the hope of completing a deal.
The Spaniard has scored 53 times in 195 appearances for Valencia in all competitions, while he has also scored on seven occasions in 20 caps for the national side.
Diego Costa, Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix are currently Atleti’s first-team options in the attacking positions.
