Durham skipper Paul Collingwood pens new contract

The former England all-rounder Paul Collingwood has signed a new one-year contract with Durham.

The 39-year-old, who made his first class debut against Northamptonshire in 1996 – will remain with the North-East outfit for the 2016 season.

The veteran has scored 14,817 runs and took 154 County Championship wickets in 264 appearances for Durham.

Durham captain has also appeared in the Indian Premier League for Delhi Daredevils as well as Rajasthan Royals and in the Australia’s Big Bash League for Perth Scorchers.
