According to The Daily Mail, AC Milan may pursue Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun again this summer, as the 21-year-old has impressed on his season-long loan at Reims, scoring 16 goals in 22 games, and other clubs have taken notice of his performance.
In 2021, Milan attempted to acquire Balogun as a free agent, but he ultimately signed a new long-term contract with the North Londoners. Despite this, the youngster has had difficulty finding a place in Mikel Arteta’s squad, leading the Gunners’ manager to face a significant decision this summer.
Considering that Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are higher up in the hierarchy, the Premier League leaders could be enticed to sell Balogun.
Given Balogun’s outstanding performance this season, Arsenal could potentially demand over £40m for his transfer.
In addition, AS Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen are both interested in the England under-21 international.
