Report – Manchester United interested in Victor Osimhen

Manchester United have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old has been a standout performer for the Italian outfit during the 2021-22 campaign, finding the back of the net on 18 occasions in 31 appearances, in addition to contributing 6 assists.

According to Corriere dello Sport, via The Mirror, Manchester United have identified Osimhen as one of their main attacking targets this summer and have decided to approach the Nigerian regarding a possible switch to Old Trafford.

The striker has recently hinted that he could stay at Partenopei, after he hopes to work under Luciano Spalletti for “many more years”.

Osimhen believed to be interested in the prospect of playing in the English Premier League, with the Red Devils set to face fierce competition from the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United for the frontman’s signature.

Osimhen has a contract at Napoli until June 2025.
