Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong in January.
The Red Devils are keen to add more competition for Diogo Dalot at Old Trafford.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be sold out next month and it is claimed that Frimpong is the prime target to replace him.
The Netherlands international has been a revelation for Leverkusen this season. He has scored five goals and registered three assists in 21 outings for them.
His performance have understandably attracted interest from Man United and Fabrizio Romano claims that the Premier League giants want to sign him at the midway point of the campaign.
The Bundesliga outfit are unlikely to sell Frimpong on the cheap and it is suggested that it would take at least €25m to secure his signature this winter.
