Arsenal ready to rival Chelsea for Sergino Dest?

Arsenal are reportedly among a few clubs looking to swoop for Barcelona full-back Sergino Dest.

The Gunners have identified the 21-year-old defender as a potential transfer target for 2022.

Despite making 57 appearances for the Blaugrana over the past 18 months, the United States international has allegedly been made available for transfer.

With the Catalan giants open to offers due to their financial crisis, the American has no shortage of admirers ahead of the upcoming windows.

According to Marca, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of the youngster and is prepared to make an approach.

Although the north Londoners are not short of options in the right-hand side, they may be prepared to offload one of their backup options to accommodate Dest.

The full-back has a contract at Camp Nou until 2025.
