Real Madrid have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Manchester City attacker Riyad Mahrez.
The 29-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a productive season for City last term, contributing 13 goals and 16 assists in all competitions.
The Algeria international will see his contract at the Etihad Stadium expire at the end of 2022/23 season, but according to Foot Mercato, Los Blancos are weighing up the possibility of a bid.
The report adds that the Spanish champions have already made contact with Mahrez’s representatives, although the deal would rely on Gareth Bale’s exit.
Real Madrid have not made a single signing this summer, with the COVID-19 having a huge crisis on the club’s finances.
