Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest in making a £30m bid for Everton centre-back Mason Holgate as they look to bolster their backline this summer.
The 23-year-old defender has played an important role under new head-coach Carlo Ancelotti and has started 17 Premier League appearances for the Toffees so far this season.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Premier League champions want two centre-backs in their backline this summer and Holgate could be a suitable option.
The report goes on to claim that Everton are likely to offer Holgate a new deal this summer, with the Englishman’s current contract set to run out two years from now.
