Tottenham Hotspur are ready to pounce for Roma teenager Nicolo Zaniolo by making a £44m bid this summer.
The 19-year-old has scored six goals in 36 appearances for Giallorossi this term, having arrived at the Stadio Olimpico from fellow Serie A side Inter Milan last summer.
The Italian midfielder still has four years left to run on his contract with AS Roma.
Juventus are amongst the clubs to be strongly linked with a move for the teenager but according to Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a £44m bid in an attempt to secure the player’s signature ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Spurs have not signed a first-team player since Lucas Moura arrived from PSG in January 2018.
