Report – Arsenal keen on to sign Markus Schubert to replace Petr Cech
Arsenal are reportedly planning a summer move for Dynamo Dresden goalkeeper Markus Schubert, according to German media outlet Bild, as quoted by Metro.
The Gunners would be able to sign Schubert on a free transfer in this summer when his contract comes to an end at the Bundesliga club.
The report adds that the north Londoners are interested in a deal to sign the German as Petr Cech’s replacement.
The Dresden goalkeeper has played for Germany’s youth teams from the Under-16s up to the Under-21s to enhance his promising potential.
Schubert racked up 31 appearances in 2. Bundesliga last term.
