Jan Oblak on Manchester United radar?

Manchester United have reportedly identified Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as a potential summer signing if David De Gea leaves Old Trafford at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mirror, as quoted by Metro.

The Red Devils will look to sign the Slovenia international in the summer transfer window.

The report adds that the 20-time English champions are struggling to negotiate a new deal with De Gea, who has little over 14 months left to run on his current contract at Old Trafford.

The report goes on to claim that there is a genuine fear the Spaniard will leave United this summer in a cut-price deal.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have funds to spend this summer and the Norwegian manager could look to invest in Oblak as the club’s new goalkeeper.

De Gea has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top goalkeepers during the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.
