The former Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Inter Milan.
The 29-year-old defender was deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford over the summer and was subsequently allowed to join the Italian club Parma on a four-year contract.
The Italy international has played the full 90 minutes in six Serie A fixtures this season, only missing the matches with Torino and SPAL due to a thigh strain.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan head coach Antonio Conte has been impressed with Darmian’s performances on his return to Serie A, and Internazionale are now considering a swoop.
Darmian played for AC Milan, Palermo and Torino before joining Manchester United, where he appeared 92 times over the course of four seasons.
