David de Gea signed new Man United contract

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has finally committed his long-term future to the club after signing a new four-year deal at Old Trafford.

The United No.1 was set to be a free agent at the end of the season, meaning the Red Devils could have lost him for nothing.

However, according to the Daily Record, the Spain international has signed fresh terms to extend his stay at Manchester United, that could keep him at Old Trafford for another five years.

The 28-year-old’s new four-year deal will see him receive £13.4m per season.

United moved up to fourth in the Premier League table following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Leicester City.
