AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea, according to Calciomercato.
The west London outfit are currently banned from signing new players after breaching FIFA rules in relation to signing youth players, but the Blues are allegedly confident that the suspension will be removed in time for the January transfer window.
Chelsea are interested in a swoop for the 24-year-old frontman Krzysztof Piatek and could launch a £30m offer on the table when the transfer window opens for business in the new year.
He scored 19 goals in 21 appearances for Genoa before joining Milan, where he has netted 14 goals in 29 outings across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have also recently been linked with the Poland international, whose contract at San Siro is valid until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
