The England pacer Tom Curran has committed his long-term future to the Sydney Sixers after signing a new three-year contract that promises to keep him at the Australian shores for the next three seasons.
The 23-year-old has played a key role in helping the franchise reach in the BBLI08 Semi-Finals, taking 20 wickets including figures of 3/16 against Brisbane Heat.
Curran’s impressive batting has also been hugely entertaining for the supporters to watch, scoring 185 runs this summer.
Really happy to commit to another 3 years with the Sixers. I feel like it’s a great place for me to continue to improve as a cricketer and hopefully I can help win trophies with a group of great men. See you all next year and good luck for the finals in a few days 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 https://t.co/Dn1Dq1StPK

However, the all-rounder will be unavailable for the Semi-Final match against Melbourne Renegades after being selected for England’s ODI series against West Indies.
The Sixers will take on the Melbourne Renegades at Marvel Stadium on Thursday.
