Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy signs new long-term contract

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has committed his long-term future to the club after signing a new four-year contract that promises to keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2022.

The England international scored 20 goals for the Foxes during the previous campaign, helping the club to a top-half finish and earning a place in the national squad for the World Cup 2018.

The 31-year-old attacker has regularly been linked with a move to a number of clubs since Leicester’s won the 2015-16 Premier League season, but he has now committed himself to the club once again by agreeing a new four-year deal.

Vardy has notched 88 times in 233 appearances for Leicester across all competitions.
