Arsenal have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Andre Silva from AC Milan, as the Gunners continue their search for Alexis Sanchez replacement.
The north London outfit are expected to lose the 28-year-old Chilean to league rival Manchester City.
After missing out on Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez, The Sun reports that Andre Silva of AC Milan is the latest player to be added to manager Arsene Wenger’s transfer hit-list.
The report claims that, after losing sponsorship deals with Adidas and Audi, the Serie A giants possibly need to bring in money from sales and Arsenal are among those looking to take advantage.
The Portugal international, who joined the Rossoneri from Porto on a five-year contract for a fee of €38m in June 2017, has scored four times in six appearances for the San Siro outfit.
