Hampshire keen on Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson
Hampshire have confirmed that they have made an offer to sign the Australian all-rounder Shane Watson for the county next season.
The 34-year-old, who announced his Test retirement earlier this week – but has insisted that he wanted to continue playing limited over cricket.
Hampshire director of cricket Giles White has confirmed approach has been made to bring the veteran to the Ageas Bowl next season.

Watson previously played for Hampshire between 2004 and 2006 and has scored a century on his first-class debut.
