Manchester United have reportedly “explored” the possibility of signing Chelsea star Willian this summer, according to The Daily Mail.
United boss Jose Mourinho is already familiar with the Brazilian midfielder having coached him at Stamford Bridge for two years.
Willian, 29, has struggled for regular football under Antonio Conte over the 18 months, but the playmaker is currently in strong form having scored four times in his last three games.
The report suggests that the Portuguese boss is keen to add another creative attacker to his squad ahead of next season and the Brazil international is on the club’s radar.
Willian joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.
