Everton and Tottenham to lock horns in race for Jack Grealish

Manchester City star Jack Grealish could be on the move this summer, with Everton and Tottenham Hotspur leading the chase for his signature, according to Caught Offside.

Moyes Eyes Grealish as Part of Everton Rebuild

After a turbulent start to last season, Everton stabilised under David Moyes, who replaced Sean Dyche mid-campaign. The turnaround was remarkable, with the Toffees eventually finishing well clear of the relegation zone—23 points above 18th-placed Leicester—and even finishing above Manchester United and Tottenham.

Now, Moyes is planning a squad overhaul. While moves for a right-back, a midfielder, and Villarreal striker Thierno Barry are reportedly close, Grealish has emerged as a surprise attacking target. The 28-year-old is said to be on Everton’s wishlist as they look to bolster their options on the flanks.

Grealish has struggled for consistent minutes under Pep Guardiola over the past two seasons, and City are reportedly open to a sale. The Premier League champions are demanding £40 million, but Everton would prefer to secure the England international on a season-long loan.

Tottenham Join Grealish Pursuit Amid Saudi Competition

Tottenham, now under the leadership of new boss Thomas Frank, are also keen on Grealish. Spurs are prioritising wide attacking reinforcements, with West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus already on their radar. Grealish, who can play on the left, as a No. 10, or even deeper in midfield, fits the bill due to his tactical flexibility.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Napoli, and several Saudi Pro League clubs—including Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Neom SC—are all monitoring the situation. The Saudi sides are believed to have already initiated talks, showing their financial muscle.

Versatile Talent Up for Grabs

Despite his lack of consistent starts at the Etihad, Grealish remains a sought-after asset. His ability to operate in multiple roles makes him an ideal fit for clubs like Tottenham or Everton looking to add quality and depth in attacking positions.
