Man United confirm reports of a potential takeover by Saudi Arabia

Manchester United have acknowledged the ongoing discussions regarding a potential takeover from Saudi Arabia.

Recent reports have indicated that Qatar is also exploring the possibility of making a bid for the Premier League giants, which has created a divide among the fanbase due to their controversial human rights record and the issues that arose during the 2022 World Cup.

According to The Telegraph, potential bidders from America, China, and Singapore are also exploring the possibility of making offers for Manchester United, in addition to the concrete interest from Middle East.

It is worth noting that Newcastle United is already owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which purchased the club for a reported cost of £305 million. In comparison, Manchester United is valued at an estimated £6-£8 billion.

Raine Group is handling the sale of Man United, and they have requested that all potential bidders submit their offers by February 17th, Friday.

Manchester United supporters are eagerly awaiting updates regarding the club’s future in the upcoming weeks, as they are currently undergoing a resurgence under the leadership of Erik ten Hag.
