Gabriel Jesus has completed his transfer to Arsenal from Manchester City on a five-year contract for a £45m fee.
The Brazil international becomes the Gunners’ fourth arrival of the current transfer window following the acquisition of Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner to the Emirates for the 2022-23 season.
Jesus, 25, has been handed the number nine shirt at the Emirates.
He only had one year left on his contract with the Citizens and was understood to have also been on the radar of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.
Jesus has contributed 95 goals and 46 assists in 236 appearances during his five-and-a-half-year stay at Manchester City.
The Brazilian is believed to have penned a contract of £220,000 per week, which will make him Arsenal’s highest-paid player for the 2022-23 season.
