Barcelona are deemed favourites to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie in the summer.
The Ivory Coast international is free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs as his contract at San Siro is due to expire in June.
According to Marca, the 25-year-old has expressed his desire to join Barcelona, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool.
The report goes on to claim that the Rossoneri are preparing to table a contract extension for the Ivorian, but the player’s departure appears to be more likely at this stage.
He is believed to be one of five players who the Blaugrana have made enquiries for, as manager Xavi looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Kessie has scored 36 goals and registered 16 assists in 207 appearances across all competitions since joining AC Milan from Atalanta BC in 2017.
