AC Milan have reportedly set their sights on securing a loan move for Manchester City defender Nathan Ake this month.
The Rossoneri are said to be in the market for a new centre-back as a potential replacement of Simon Kjaer, was has been sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
According to The Sun, the Italian giants have identified Ake as an ideal target and they will consider making a loan enquiry this month.
However, the report goes on to claim that Milan may struggle to persuade City to let the Dutchman leave, with the Premier League leaders keen to keep hold of the defender.
Ake, who joined Man City for around £40m in August 2020, has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
