Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is still a target for the Premier League champions Manchester City.
City were strongly linked with the England international over the summer but could not come to an agreement with Tottenham over a transfer fee, with Spurs thought to value their key player at £160m.
The 28-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at club level this term, scoring just once in 13 top flight appearances, although the Englishman has scored eight goals in 20 outings in all competitions.
According to El Nacional via MEN, City head coach Pep Guardiola is still keen on the England captain and views him as the ideal addition to fit into his system at the Etihad Stadium.
Kane still has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract at Tottenham.
