Manchester City have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The 29-year-old has been impressive between the sticks for the Blaugrana since his move from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2014.
However, El Nacional reports that the Catalan giants will consider the departure of Ter Stegen, amid significant financial concerns at the club.
City boss Pep Guardiola is a known admirer of the Germany international and the report goes on to claim that the Premier League champions failed with a €40m offer to sign the gloveman before recruiting Claudio Bravo instead back in 2016.
City are believed to be prepared to match Ter Stegen’s €9m-a-year salary, though his potential arrival at Manchester would see him competing with Ederson.
Ter Stegen is contracted to Barcelona until June 2025.
