Manchester United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Velez Sarsfield winger Thiago Almada in the summer transfer window, according to The Manchester Evening News.
The Red Devils are considering a swoop to sign the 19-year-old winger following his impressive performances in the Argentinian league.
United have been tracking the teen along with a number of European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
The report claim that Man United’s arch-rivals Manchester City attempted to sign the Argentine last year but the teenager committed to a new deal with Velez Sarsfield.
The talented youngster has scored nine goals in 46 games over the past two seasons.
