Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is reportedly on the verge of agreeing a new five-year contract with the Red Devils.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Spain international is set to end the speculation about his future by agreeing on a £350,000-a-week deal at Old Trafford.
If the deal goes through, the 28-year-old stopper would be the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world with a significant pay-rise on his contract, reported to be worth around £200,000-a-week.
The report adds that there have been fresh discussions between Man United and his agent Jorge Mendes and the Spaniard is now close to signing a new contract.
De Gea racked up 362 appearances for Manchester United.
United have begun their pre-season tour to Australia as they look to try and get themselves in the best possible shape for next season.
