Chelsea join Arsenal in race for Karim Adeyemi

Chelsea and Arsenal are set to battle it out for Karim Adeyemi, with the Borussia Dortmund winger seemingly eyeing a Premier League move after changing agents. According to Bild via Sport Witness, the German attacker is preparing for a summer transfer, attracting interest from England’s top clubs.

Adeyemi’s Future Up in the Air

The 22-year-old was linked with a January exit, but a move never materialised. Now, his switch to Roof agency—which represents Kai Havertz and Mohammed Kudus—suggests a summer move is imminent. Reports indicate that Adeyemi has already turned down Napoli, as his preference is a Premier League switch.

Arsenal and Chelsea in the Race

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are in the market for a dynamic winger, and Adeyemi’s 11 goal involvements in the Bundesliga this season make him an attractive option. The Gunners are linked with several wide forwards, but Adeyemi’s speed, versatility, and pressing ability fit Arteta’s system.

Meanwhile, Chelsea, known for their aggressive transfer strategy, have already made an approach through Adeyemi’s representatives. Although a deal didn’t materialise in January, the Blues remain keen on signing the German international in the summer window.

Liverpool Could Also Enter the Mix

With Mohamed Salah’s future uncertain, Liverpool have been long-time admirers of Adeyemi and could re-enter the race. If Dortmund set an affordable asking price, a bidding war could erupt between Chelsea, Arsenal, and potentially Liverpool.

As the summer window approaches, Adeyemi’s next move looks increasingly likely to be a blockbuster Premier League switch.
