Manchester City increases Bid for Matheus Nunes: Will Wolves Accept?
Manchester City have reportedly upped their offer for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matheus Nunes.
The Premier League champions are eager to reinforce their midfield following the injury of Kevin De Bruyne.
Wolves attacker Nunes has become a prime target for the Citizens, and they aim to secure his services before the transfer window closes on Friday.
Wolves initially turned down City’s £47m bid for the Portuguese. However, City are persistent and have returned with a renewed offer of around £51.4m plus add-ons.
Should Wolves accept, it would break their previous record sale of £47m for Ruben Neves earlier in the summer.
