Bayern Munich consider €70m Bid for Harry Kane
Bayern Munich have reportedly made an initial offer of €70m (£60.2m) to Tottenham Hotspur for striker Harry Kane.
The England international is set to enter the final year of his contract next month, and there are doubts about his willingness to sign an extension.
Spurs risk losing him for free in 2024. Chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival, such as Manchester United, who have shown interest.
However, Kane has now shown openness to a move to Bayern Munich, as they could offer him a chance to win a major team trophy.
The Bundesliga champions’ bid is expected to be rejected, as Spurs are reportedly holding out for at least £100m.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also potential suitors for Kane, depending on the future of Kylian Mbappe. Kane had an impressive season, scoring 32 goals in 49 appearances for Tottenham and becoming the top scorer for club and country.
