Arsenal weighing up summer move for Declan Rice
Arsenal are rumoured to be among the clubs interested in acquiring West Ham United captain Declan Rice.
The 23-year-old has previously been the subject of interest from top clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
The England international is likely to move to a new club in 2023 in search of success and trophies, particularly given West Ham’s current position in the Premier League.
According to Fichajes, the Gunners are now a serious contender for Rice, and head coach Mikel Arteta is urging the club to complete the signing during the summer transfer window.
David Moyes’s side have the option to extend Rice’s contract by another year, which would keep him at London Stadium until June 2025.
Rice has once again been an important player for the East Londoners in the 2022-23 season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 23 matches in all competitions.
