Arsenal are deemed favourites to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The 24-year-old has had a successful 2022-23 season, netting 21 goals and providing four assists in 26 competitive games.
Notably, the Nigerian has scored 19 goals in the Italian top-flight this season, making him the league’s leading scorer.
His remarkable performances have been pivotal in Napoli’s bid to clinch their first Serie A title in 33 years, with the team 15 points clear of Inter Milan.
As a consequence of his impressive displays, the frontman has garnered attention from several of Europe’s top clubs, such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain.
As per the reports, the Gunners appears to be leading the race to sign Osimhen, with the intention of strengthening their forward line. However, securing the services of the Nigerian will come at a considerable cost for the North Londoners.
Osimhen is under contract with Partenopei until June 2025.
