Man United reportedly still hold an interest in signing PSV Eindhoven attacker Cody Gakpo ahead of the January window, says Fabrizio Romano.
The Netherlands international was one of the star performers at the World Cup in Qatar, having scored three goals in five appearances.
He has been in impressive form for PSV lately, with the Dutchman having scored nine goals and registered 12 assists in 14 league matches this season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Man United coach Erik ten Hag is a “big fan” of his compatriot and the club remain interested in a possible swoop next year.
However, there have not been any direct negotiations between the two clubs.
Gakpo, 23, impressed for PSV last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists in the league to help the Dutch outfit to finish in second in the division.
