Paris Saint-Germain sign Vitinha on five-year deal

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Vitinha from FC Porto on a five-year contract.

The 22-year-old becomes the Parisians’ second acquisition of the summer window following the arrival of Nuno Mendes from Sporting Lisbon.

PSG are believed to have paid Porto a €40m amount to sign Vitinha, who contributed four goals and six assists in 59 appearances for Sergio Conceicao’s side in all tournaments.

Manchester United were also believed to have been interested in the Portugal international before the midfielder joined PSG.

The Ligue 1 champions are now stepping up their efforts to sign Lille’s Renato Sanches and Inter Milan’s Milan Skriniar following Vitinha’s move to the Parc des Princes.
