Newcastle United have emerged as rumoured suitors for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to a report.
The England international has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal, but due to an injury, those rumours have faded away in recent months.
The 25-year-old forward has started just 12 top flight matches so far this season, with three goals.
However, such problems have not deterred Newcastle United from preparing an offer for the Englishman at the end of the season according to The Telegraph, who report that he is at the top of their transfer targets.
The Toffees do find themselves in a strong position with Calvert-Lewin’s contract not due to expire until June 2025.
Calvert-Lewin has scored 56 goals in 188 appearances for Everton.
