Liverpool are reportedly planning a January move for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to Fichajes.
The 23-year-old has scored 29 goals and registered 26 assists in 178 appearances across all competitions.
However, the Nigeria international has received far less game time during 2022-23, with just five starts in the top flight.
He has just over 18 months left to run on his contract, leaving the Yellow Submarine aware that they may have to be open to any lucrative offers for his signature.
The aforementioned report suggests that Liverpool are giving consideration to making an approach for the Nigerian at the midway point of the campaign.
The Reds are already well stocked for options in the final third. However, the future of Roberto Firmino remains in doubt with the Brazilian’s contract at Anfield due to expire at the end of the season.
The report adds that Arsenal, West Ham United and Everton are also keeping tabs on Chukwueze’s situation over the coming weeks.
