Liverpool have reportedly placed emphasis on signing PSV Eindhoven’s Ibrahim Sangare in the summer transfer window.
Previous reports emerged that Chelsea were keen on signing the 24-year-old, who has been with the Dutch outfit since 2020.
With the Blues searching for a new playmaker, Sangare was believed to be a prime target. However, according to Sports Illustrated, Liverpool are also keeping close eye on the Ivory international, which could spark a battle between the two Premier League sides.
Liverpool see Sangare as an alternative option to Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, who is expected to join Real Madrid this summer.
Sangare has scored four goals in 49 appearances this season for PSV.
