Everton have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Daniel Podence.
The Toffees are considering bringing in at least one fresh face in the middle of the pitch when the transfer window reopens in January.
According to Football Insider, Podence has been placed on Everton’s wishlist of potential targets.
The report adds that the Merseyside outfit would prefer to sign players who can play in more than one position, and Podence seems to fit the bill.
The 27-year-old only has two goals to his name. He has been one of the Wolves’ most threatening players during a miserable start to the season.
Nevertheless, the Portugal international has just over 18 months left on his contract at Molineux and his Jorge Mendes will be weighing up future opportunities for his player.
