Bournemouth have resurrected their interest in Liverpool centre-back Nat Phillips.
The 25-year-old was loaned out to the Cherries for the second half of the last season and established himself to be an integral part of their promotion-winning side.
He made a total of 18 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions, including 17 matches in the Championship.
The centre-back has since returned to Liverpool and has been involved in the club’s pre-season plans, but his probability for regular game time in 2022-23 is slim.
Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip are all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Liverpool Echo reports that Scott Parker’s side are considering another move for the Englishman after the manager opened up on his frustration over a lack of signings.
Phillips has a contract with Liverpool until 2025, but the Reds are now said to be open to a permanent move for the centre-back.
